Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website at https://example.com and related pages, tools, and forms (the “Site”), operated by Employee Retirement Litigation Group (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. Nature of the Site; no legal advice
The Site is attorney advertising. The content, calculators, and self-assessment tools on the Site are provided for general informational purposes only and are not legal, financial, tax, or investment advice.
2. No attorney-client relationship
Using the Site, submitting a form, using a tool, or communicating with us does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Employee Retirement Litigation Group or any attorney. An attorney-client relationship is formed only through a separate, signed engagement agreement with a law firm that has agreed to represent you. Do not send confidential or time-sensitive information expecting it to be protected by the attorney-client privilege.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Site.
4. No guarantee of outcome
Nothing on the Site is a promise or guarantee about the outcome of any matter. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome. Estimates produced by calculators or tools are hypothetical and illustrative only and do not predict any recovery.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the Site unlawfully; submit false, misleading, or another person’s information without authorization; interfere with the Site’s operation or security; scrape, harvest, or use automated means to access the Site except as permitted; or use the Site to transmit malware or spam.
6. Intellectual property
The Site and its content, design, logos, and software are owned by Employee Retirement Litigation Group or its licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the Site for its intended personal, non-commercial purpose. All other rights are reserved.
7. Your submissions and consent to be contacted
By submitting information through the Site, you represent it is accurate and that you are authorized to provide it, and you agree to our Privacy Policy and Communications Consent, including consent to be contacted by phone, text, and email about your inquiry. Consent to marketing communications is not a condition of any service.
8. Disclaimers of warranties
THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT AND TOOLS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that calculator results are accurate or applicable to your situation.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EMPLOYEE RETIREMENT LITIGATION GROUP AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED USD $100.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Employee Retirement Litigation Group from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or breach of these Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
12. Changes
We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the updated version with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Site means you accept the changes.
13. Miscellaneous
If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Disclaimer are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site.
